ITINERARY
Day 1 Leave Home
Today we board our international flight from a New York City airport for Tel Aviv, Israel
Day 2 Arrive Tel Aviv / Tiberias
We arrive in Tel Aviv at Ben Gurion airport where we are met by our tour
representative, guide and driver. We board our bus for the drive to Tiberias on
the Sea of Galilee. We check into our hotel, where we will also have dinner.
Day 3 Tiberias / Mt. of Beatitudes / Tabgha / Capernaum / Upper Galilee / Ancient Boat / Boat Ride
This morning, after a buffet breakfast, we board the bus for the Mt. of Beatitudes,
the site where Jesus preached the Sermon on the Mount. Next, we travel to
Tabgha, Capernaum, and the Upper Galilee area. We see the Ancient
Jesus Boat and take a ride on the Sea of Galilee. We return to
our hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 4 Tiberias / Megiddo / Mt. Carmel / Nazareth / Baptism
Today we drive to Megiddo to see the ruins and the Plains of Armageddon.
Then we travel on to Mt. Carmel, Nazareth and back to Tiberias for a
baptismal service in the Jordan River. Afterwards, we return
to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 5 Beit She’an / Qumran / Masada / Dead Sea / Jerusalem
This morning we leave Tiberias for Jerusalem. Along the drive we
will go to Beit She’an, see the caves and ruins at Qumran and climb Masada.
Then we will visit the lowest point on earth – the Dead Sea, where we will
spend time floating on the sea. We will continue on to Jerusalem, where we
will check into our hotel and have dinner.
Day 6 Jerusalem / Mt. of Olives / Palm Sunday Road / Gethsemane / House of Caiaphas / Upper Room
We start our tour today at the Mt. of Olives, then walk the Palm Sunday
Road to Gethsemane. We will then pr0ceed to the House of Caiaphas.
We enter the Old City to see the Upper Room. We return to
our hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 7 Jerusalem / Western Wall / Temple Mount
We begin our day of touring at the Western Wall and go upon the Temple Mount.
Later we will have time for shopping before returning our hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 8 Jerusalem / Shrine of the Book / Yad Vashem
We start today’s tour at the Shrine of the Book, where we will see the Dead Sea Scrolls
on display. Next we will tour Yad Vashem (the Holocaust Museum). We will also
drive by the Knesset (the Israeli Parament) and return to our hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 9 Jerusalem / Via Dolorosa / Garden Tomb /Elah Valley / Caesarea / Aqueduct / Mini Israel /Airport
This morning we will walk the Via Dolorosa and go to the Garden Tomb for a
service. We drive through the Elah Valley, then on to Caesarea and the Roman Aqueduct.
We end our tour at Mini Israel and then travel to the airport for our flight home.
Day 10 Travel Home
Our trip is concluded. We have enjoyed 10 days, thousands of miles, two hotels
and millions of memories. We have experienced the Fifth Gospel. There are five gospels
that tell the story of Jesus. Four of them you will find in the Book, the Fifth Gospel you will
find in the land we call Holy, Israel.
